چکیده
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) are useful in various engineering and healthcare applications. A new fully biobased polyamide TPE (PA36,9) with medium hardness is reported. The elastomer synthesized using a fatty dimer amine azelaic acid, via one-pot melt condensation polymerization. resulting shows melting temperature of 83.6 °C, (Shore A/Shore D = 90/35), large elongation at break (1220%), good resilience, impact resistance, while maintaining high tensile strength (31.8 MPa), low density (0.93 g cm?3), hydrophobicity. chemical structure the repeating unit, together molecular weight distribution, polymer governs properties polyamide, which differ from those conventional aliphatic polyamides. This promising candidate to substitute some fossil fuel-based medium-hardness TPEs for applications, such as insulation, sealing, automotives, construction.

Enhanced Coarse-Graining of Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer for Multiscale Modeling
The objective of this work is to develop a multiscale modeling tool of copolymers with long chains. We propose an enhanced coarse-graining method of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with three beads. The proposed coarse-graining provides an accurate molecular modeling tool to keep the molecular interaction together with computational efficiency. The coarse-grained model with three beads is furt...
متن کاملSupramolecular thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomer materials with self-healing ability based on oligomeric charged triblock copolymers
Supramolecular polymeric materials constitute a unique class of materials held together by non-covalent interactions. These dynamic supramolecular interactions can provide unique properties such as a strong decrease in viscosity upon relatively mild heating, as well as self-healing ability. In this study we demonstrate the unique mechanical properties of phase-separated electrostatic supramolec...

Optimized Synthesis According to One-Step Process of a Biobased Thermoplastic Polyacetal Derived from Isosorbide
This paper describes both the synthesis and characterization of a biobased and non-aromatic polyacetal produced from the reaction between isosorbide and methylene chloride. The reaction was conducted in an aprotic dipolar and harmless solvent using a one-step, fast and economical procedure. The chemical composition of this polymer was investigated using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Fourier Tr...
